We are looking to fill our DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS-VICE PRESIDENT position in the Perrysburg/Toledo area.

This position will drive company operations and performance for multiple divisions. The DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS-VICE PRESIDENT will provide leadership for day-to-day execution of work projects; this will include overseeing processes while ensuring, accounting, and providing support for all divisional leaders. We are seeking an enthusiastic DIRECTOR who promotes safety first, leads by example, optimizes operational efficiency, and develops fast growing, high performing teams.

 

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:

Summary
The information Technologies Specialist will help to maintain personal computers, workstations, servers, etc. throughout the corporation. He/She will help in all aspect of IT, including the documentation of IT processes and procedures.


Essential Functions

  • First point of contact for all IT support Issues

  • Troubleshoot, update and maintain PC’s, workstations, and servers as requested and directed.

  • Data Entry into ERP and Intranet Systems as needed

  • Copier/Printer Maintenance

  • Building/Troubleshoot PC based CNC computers for customers and projects

  • Use of Ticket system to track issues

  • Must be punctual and regular attendance.

Competencies

  • Associates degree in Information Technology, a relevant field or past work experience

Summary
Duties include mechanical machinery design, including new machines and modifications of existing designs, using 3D design software such as Inventor, as well as Vault software. Design, detailing and checking is required. Part and BOM creation within the ERP system is required. Drawing packages are released to the Job Coordinator. Designers are expected to collaborate with production supervisors for optimum design, in consideration of cost of manufacturing, and ease of build. They are expected to follow the designs through production, correcting non-conformances.

Essential Functions

  • Collaborate with Sales to ensure understanding of requirements and specifications.

  • Use of Fundamental Principles of Engineering and Engineering Methods. Prepare calculations prior to drawing.

  • Collaborate with Electrical Engineering on motor load requirements, as well as other electrical devices to be incorporated into machine design.

  • Collaborate with Production supervisors and Divisional Lead Design, on best possible designs for ease of manufacturing and to minimize costs, while maintaining design integrity to meet requirements.

  • CAD design including 3D concept designs and detailing, existing machine design modifications, and possibly 2D cad designs. Assembly Drawing creation, including ballooning.

  • Follow Engineering and company procedures and standards.

  • Collaborate with and obtain quotes from Suppliers on part selection for best lead time and cost factors and ensure technical suitability.

  • Part and BOM creation within ERP system.

  • Drawing updates and corrections(Non-conformance)

Competencies

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering with at least 2 years of experience, or Associates Degree in Mechanical Design with at least 6 years of machine design experience

  • Inventor or Solidworks experience of minimum 1 year

Summary

The position is responsible for the installation, startup assistance, and servicing of Glassline Corp. machinery of various types. These may be glass processing machines, food processing machines, or packaging machines, depending on the Division that requires the work. Installation may involve marking centerlines, manipulating machines into position, leveling, anchoring, reassembly, re-wiring, re-plumbing, etc. to bring the machine to operational readiness. After installation, the technician may be involved in troubleshooting any problems found after installation. Besides installation, existing machines my need to be serviced. This may include visits to the Customer’s site for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting problems, making recommendations for parts that are required, and generally helping the Customer with any problems that they may have with the machine, within the power and knowledge of the technician. When not in the field, the technician may be required to help assemble machinery, startup machinery on Glassline Corporation’s factory floor, and training of other individuals.

Essential Functions

  • Travel to customer plant site/s to assist Customer with install, and starting up machine. Test machine to Customer satisfaction. Report issues to staff for corrective action and/or future improvements.

  • Travel to Customer site for machinery service, maintenance, training, etc.

  • Assemble machinery according to blueprints and pneumatic prints

  • Wire machinery to control panels according to schematics

  • Assist Engineering/programmer with startup of machines

  • Train Customer or other Glassline team members

  • Make recommendations to Customers for parts that they will need and relay that information to Sales for quoting.

  • Ensure Customers are completely satisfied with the machines.

  • Report working and traveling hours via a Service Report to HR, and obtain Customer feedback via form.

  • Ability to read mechanical blueprints, as well as pneumatic and electrical blueprints

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and workdays are typically Monday through Friday, first shift, according to Divisional work schedule. Flexibility is necessary due to varying Customer requirements. Occasional evening, 3rd shift, and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

Travel is REQUIRED. Travel durations vary, but are typically one week. International travel may be required which can have extended durations due to the travel time. Travel and meal expenses and certain other expenses are paid, as well as other bonus compensation(but not guaranteed). Travel estimation is 10-50% depending on various factors.

  • Technical Associates Degree, preferred, in Mechanical/Electrical Tech.

  • Minimum 2 years of machinery building and/or service experience is required, over 5 years preferred

Summary
The primary purpose of the Secure Pak Sales position is to execute sales strategy, initiate contact with existing and potential customers, identify needs and sell appropriate equipment to meet those needs. This is accomplished by building relationships with customers and potential customers. Some travel required.

Essential Functions

  • Manage and maintain the CRM system to ensure accurate Customer records are kept. Establish contact lists including influencers, decision makers and enter into CRM. This should include any applicable customer customs, buying tendencies, etc.

  • Prospecting for new Customers

  • Work with Divisional team and the Marketing team to ensure consistent branding on the website and sales documents, help to create sales brochures and other documents and videos, and help create marketing campaigns.

  • Follow-up on quotations and provide feedback to management on order probabilities, possible actions, and competitive references for future quotations.

  • Provide market feedback.

  • Call prospective customers and determine buying cycles, customer needs, and create customer supplier relationships.

  • Maintain travel expenses within budget unless otherwise approved.

  • Provide sales call reports to management.

Continuously gain knowledge of the product line by studying website, visiting existing customers’ and reviewing machines, reading manuals, and by other means. Attempt to gain knowledge of competitors’ machines to learn strengths and weaknesses. Report to the Sales Mgr. and/or CEO any competitive technical and commercial information.
